Uncle and Aunt Skagit's Garden

Our trip home began with a stop in Vancouver. We had missed our flight to Seattle that night, so it was a surprise stay, but a true blessing. We were very thankful that our brother-in-law, Doug, could pick up up from the airport. We so enjoyed our extra time with the Jensens! The next morning was a wonderfully relaxing one before we drove to Daniel's aunt and uncle's place to meet his parents who then took us home. I also got to see Uncle Ed and Aunt Mary again (what dear hearts!) and enjoy their charming and artistic home. We especially enjoyed their garden full of God's wonder!

Berries fresh from the garden. Berry good!
Poppies! After drying, they become natural poppy seed shakers! They also look rather clay like. It was our first time to see our niece Karlin as a teenager! :) Narnia grew so much since I last saw her and continues to beam. Both girls are true sunflowers!

Don't these flowers look like God used a paintbrush on each one?! I love the colours!"For the beauty of the earth . . ."
Most of us together again! Reunions with family bloom into something beautiful!
