Hot Springs in Ilan

Ilan is a city about one hour from Taipei on the eastern coast. Our friend Charlotte, lives in Ilan and organized this day of dipping. I also appreciated her making sure the springs were safe for babies! Babies over six months are welcome :) We just made sure J. Kai didn't stay in the pools too long. With swimsuit and swim cap on, Jeremiah was ready to become a super springer. :) He probably didn't need to wear a swimming cap, but since I had an extra cap that matched his little swim outfit perfectly . . . what's a mama to do!  The spa offered different kinds of pools like tea, lavender (it was purple and my favourite!) and above you can see the "milk" pool. And Jeremiah with Auntie Malia.
With Auntie Naomi in the rose pool. It took a few dips for Jeremiah to get into that springy feeling. By the end he seemed to really enjoy it! This facility also had a spa section that was more like a regular pool with water massage and whirlpools. We hung out there too!
Now this was a true tickle for me! The fish pool! Little fishies nibble the dead skin on your feet! I've always wanted to try this! The first few minutes were a true tickle fest, but then I got used to it, and so enjoyed this live action fish pedicure. You sit on the sides and let your feet dangle in for as long as you'd like. If you ever have the chance, do it!
