Grass

The past few days have been absolutely gorgeous in Taipei! Clear blue skies, wonderfully warm temperatures, sunshine and no humidity. This is our city at its best. We've been spending a lot of time outside these days soaking up the vitamin D! Our Sunday was sunny, so we heading to the park in the afternoon for some family "grass time". City apartment living makes grass a novelty. Jeremiah had a hoot sitting in the grass, crawling after every little flower and clover, and picking the grass. We were on "no eating the grass" duty and joining in our boy's delight!

"Walking" on the grass :) Jeremiah takes just a couple steps when we hold his hands. He prefers taking steps on his own terms from different pieces of furniture and holding himself up on whatever he can. For now he still loves crawling about!

 We are so thankful for summer days in what is normally still Taiwan's winter. The weather has been an array of extremes the past few weeks - Going from 28 degrees Celsius to 9 degrees Celsius the next day. We have a few day of cold and then pow - it's summer again! Last week we went from playing inside our house with a jacket and gloves on by the heater fan to wearing shorts and a T-shirt the next day. A Chinese idiom shares that weather is like a woman's mood - it's always changing. :)
