Daniel and I were invited to one of my students homes for lunch. Being invited to a home is always an honour, and the joy of a home cooked Chinese meal is a feast and a treat! My student's name is Dr. Luke. He has been in my four- week introduction to the Bible course several times :) It was wonderful to meet his wife and children. We even met his mother-in-law. Dr. Luke is an incredible man – he is loves his wife and his family. He is 82 years old and still runs his own family practice. We hike the stairs together to get to our classroom on the 4th floor on Friday nights. We had a delightful lunch and afternoon with his family. Though language was limited, we were blessed to become part of the family!
