So blessed by a fun day of birthday joy and celebrations! My day started with a glorious morning and a hike with my dear friend and hiking partner, Rachel! I came home to Daniel and Jeremiah jumping out of the bathroom singing, "Happy Birthday" and a surprise Swedish pancake breakfast that they put together. :) I had a very sweet morning of Skyping with my family, phone calls, e-mails and facebook messages! I met some sisters for lunch, and then spent the afternoon with Jeremiah. He was so excited about his mama's birthday, that he felt he didn't need an afternoon nap . . .  Then we had a nice family evening together too!

Jeremiah grabbed the bell fruit off my plate while Daniel took the picture. Notice how he is holding my mousse bottle in the other hand? He loves all cylindrical containers!

My dear friend Beth's birthday is on March 4th (She and her husband Leo actually have the same birthday - how cool is that?) so we had a joint birthday lunch today! So fun to have double happiness celebrations! And this year we had our babies with us!

Such joy and thanks for a new year! May it truly be a year to delight in the Lord!
