Pregnancy!

We are very thankful for this journey of pregnancy! We've now entered the second trimester and baby Bastke seems to be doing well. Mama had her 14-week doctor's appointment yesterday and the little “bean” was moving around and even seemed to look right at her during the ultrasound. What a miracle to see the little hands and feet that belong to our baby.

This is our little one's purple pepper debut :) We could call him/her our little “Pepper”. The baby seems to go by many different names from the fruit that describes it's weekly size (a lemon this week!) to BB to Sparkle Bean and more.

Here are a few highlights of our baby's 3.5 months in utero.

*Our positive pregnancy test (two lines!) on Easter morning/Resurrection Day. The new life celebration had a new addition!

*Learning about hospitals and doctor's visits in this foreign land – learning new pregnancy lingo in Chinese.

*Skyping with both sets of grandparents this morning. Seeing them on the computer screen! My parents are visiting Daniel's parents for the next few days. That's a whole other neat story! We were able to share the newest ultrasound picture with them together and fun stories. What a heart hug to see them all together!
