Jeremiah's Birthday Party!

We had Jeremiah's first birthday party on the rooftop on Saturday! We had a frog theme - frogs have a special part of Jeremiah's journey. First of all his name and the song lyrics, "Jeremiah was a bullfrog, was a good friend of mine", his nursing pillow and blue chair had frogs on them, and frogs kept appearing on clothing, cards and notes. There is also the song, "Bullfrogs and butterflies . . ." that speaks to our hearts. Frogs leap, and our hearts keep leaping for joy and love for our little boy! Frogs are green and it was St. Patrick's day, so many of us wore green!
We have a dear group of family and friends who helped us celebrate our little boy! Daniel transformed our common room into frog filled fundom. People dropped by in intervals, but here's a fun group shot. We are all saying one is fun!
The loveseat of kiddos! Micah, Caleb and the 2011 babies - Alicia (yellow dress), Benny, Scarlett, and the birthday boy! This was quite the fun photo session, oh my!
Scarlett thought the frogs were fun! A princess and the frog :)
Guests tried to put the 13 pictures in order from 0-12 months! It wasn't easy! What an incredible year of growth!
Jeremiah had some time to make a few phone calls during the festivities.
And show of his walking with his walker :)
I had fun getting all the food and desserts together - including making these frog cupcakes! Brought me back to my Krust and Krumb bakery days :)
Jeremiah got his own heart shaped frog cupcake! Mommy and Daddy got to help him blow out the candle.
He first went for the marshmallow eyes and enjoyed a whole lot of it!
He also got into opening the gifts :)
My first pair of red soccer shoes joy!
J.Kai loved having so many people over and being entertained by all!
The birthday boy shows Scarlett how things work :)

Huge thanks to our dear friend Malia capturing these frogtastic moments with her camera! :)
